Combo I (Ballet & Jazz Basics): Ages 6-9

• Introduction to Ballet and Jazz movement. Students will learn the fundamentals of ballet positions, technique, and terminology while connecting ballet steps into combinations. They will also learn the discipline and structure of proper ballet etiquette at the barré. Students will use ballet technique to lead into basic jazz dance steps and short combinations.

• This class is an extension of the Combo I class. Students will continue to improve their ballet positions, technique, and terminology, while learning across the floor and center exercises. Students will learn more challenging jazz dance steps and more complex combinations.
